Honey is a sweet natural liquid made by bees using nectar from the flowers, it is multi-floral harvested from different flowers from forests. It is harvested in its comb and processed into liquid form. Its comb after removing the liquid is processed into beeswax. Bees turn the nectar of flowers into natural honey by the process of regurgitation and evaporation. Honey contains sugar, carbohydrates, minerals, and essential amino acids plus calories. Honey is a well-known natural healing agent with antibacterial and antioxidant properties which has been used since ancient times. The color varies according to the floral nature that it derives the nectar from. It can be very light amber, medium to dark.
Uses
Honey can be used as a bread spread, sweetener, a cough relief agent and can also be used to dress wounds especially wounds caused by burns. It is also used as a beauty treatment.
